Working these hours helps reduce the risk of an operations caused fire. We also have to stick around after work is complete for up to three hours, depending on the Industrial Fire Precaution Level, IFPL, to watch for smoke in the area.

We spent the day Friday with the Oregon Small Woodlands Association. We toured Jim and Ed Merzenich’s property who were selected as the Oregon Small Woodland Association tree farmer of the year. We did a thinning project for them back in November and December and part of the tour was the work we had done for them.

Not every log meets the requirements to be manufactured into poles, but we have the expertise to bring you the best possible return on your timber.
